Banger Cleaning Bin

A Banger Cleaning Bin (or dunk station) is a specialized container built to hold your cleaning alcohol. While a Traditional Bucket Banger can usually be cleaned with just a cotton swab, modern, intricate designs—like Terp Slurpers, Towers, and Terp Slides—feature tight channels, intake slits, and internal barrels that a swab simply cannot reach.

A cleaning bin lets you fully submerge your setup, allowing the alcohol to effortlessly dissolve residual oil from every nook and cranny. Plus, it features a built-in strainer basket that lets you easily lift your banger and smaller accessories—like terp pearls and pillars—right out of the alcohol, eliminating the need to fish around in sticky liquid with tweezers.

You can use either method on its own depending on your style, or combine them both for the ultimate deep-clean routine:

• The Quick Wipe: Wait for your setup to cool down a bit, but while it is still warm, use a cotton swab—like an XL Terp Tip for easier cleaning—to swab out the inside of the banger. For your accessories (like marbles, pillars, or pearls), simply set them on a paper towel or cloth and wipe them down.
• The Dunk: Once the banger and accessories have cooled to a warm-to-the-touch temp, submerge them in iso (using a Banger Cleaning Bin to make soaking and lifting easier). Let them soak for a few seconds to effortlessly dissolve any remaining film, then pull them out and dry them off.

Never submerge a scorching-hot banger. Dropping hot quartz directly into room-temperature iso causes the alcohol to flash-steam and boil off, releasing strong, unpleasant fumes while putting unnecessary thermal stress on the welds over time.
Instead, wait until the banger is warm to the touch. That mild residual heat helps the iso break down leftover concentrate instantly without harsh steam or thermal shock.

Standard glass jars are simply not the best size or design for cleaning sesh gear, and we don’t recommend glass-on-glass contact when soaking your pieces.

• The Paper Towel Method: Simply dump the warm accessories out onto a paper towel and wipe them down by hand to remove the oil residue until they are completely clean and dry.
